Your Power 100

Your database is your business. The agents who build and keep a real contact list are the agents who build lasting careers. Your Power 100 is the foundation — the people who already know you, like you, and trust you. They are your most likely source of referrals, repeat business, and early momentum.

The goal is simple: 100 contacts in your CRM, four fields each. Don’t rush it — a complete record today saves hours later.

What to capture

Four fields for every contact

Full name

First and last — no nicknames unless that's what they go by professionally.

Email

The one they actually check, personal or work.

Cell phone

Mobile. It's how people text and call now.

Mailing address

Home if you can — handwritten notes, postcards, holiday cards.

Don’t have all four for someone? Add what you have and mark it incomplete. You’ll fill the gaps in natural conversation.

Who to add

Eight places your hundred already are. Think broadly.

Your Power 100 is not just past clients — it’s everyone in your life who might buy, sell, or refer someone to you. Work through each group and add everyone who comes to mind.

How to build it fast

Six tips

  1. Start with your phone.Scroll your contacts and add anyone you've actually spoken to in the last few years.
  2. Check your social media.Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn are gold mines for names and emails.
  3. Go through old email.People you've corresponded with already know you.
  4. Don't overthink it.If you know them and could pick up the phone today, they belong on the list.
  5. Aim for complete records.A contact with no email or phone limits what you can do. Chase the missing details.
  6. It grows.A hundred is the floor, not the ceiling. Add people as you meet them — forever.

Your Power 100 is not a list. It’s the beginning of a relationship-driven business that will serve you for the length of your career. Invest the time now and it pays you back many times over.
